Ernesto Limiti is a full professor in the Electronics Engineering Department of the University of Roma, Tor Vergata, Italy since 2002. He is actually the director of the Microwave Engineering Centre for Space Applications (MECSA), an inter-university center grouping more than 140 researchers in 14 italian universities.
His research activity is focused on modelling for active and passive devices such as GaAs, GaN, SiC, Si, InP and Diamond MESFET/HEMT, design methodologies for low noise devices/circuits and linear & nonlinear microwave circuits including their multi-functional integration (Single- Chip front-Ends, Core Chips). The above research lines have produced more than 500 contributions on refereed international journals and presentations within international conferences.
He is in the steering committee of several international conferences and in the editorial board of scientific, peer-reviewed journals in the microwave and millimeter-wave electronics area.
